Trust and expertise
I provide medical advice to patients, medico-legal assesments for personal injury
and negligence claims and have extensive knowledge.
Private patients
I welcome patients with all major private medical insurance and self-funding patients from the UK and abroad.
I have been seeing private patients with chronic pain since 1992. I receive patients from local GP’s and consultant colleagues. Because of my national and international reputation I see patients for neuromodulation (SCS , Radiofrequency, Reactiv8) and second opinion from around the UK and abroad.
Insured
If you have private medical insurance you should be covered. Please contact your provider prior to your procedure, scan or consultation to ensure you are covered. Your provider will usually issue you with a claim or authorisation number. Please bring this and your membership number to your appointment.
Paying for your own treatment
You do not have to be insured as I offer fixed package prices for most procedures making it easy for you to pay for your treatment, scan or consultation. You can pay by credit card or cash on the day for Procedures and Diagnostics. Consultation appointments will be invoiced or settled by credit card by your consultant.
GP Referral
A GP referral letter is helpful but not always a necessity. You can book direct for a consultation and for any treatment that is self-funded.
